The Cayman S has also been thoroughly inspected and all issues addressed by Porsche Specialist PorschaCare in September 2018, which included various suspension components, exhaust clamps and brake parts.

The Cayman S comes fitted with the mid mounted 3.4 litre DFI flat six engine that produces 320bhp. Just one previous doctor owner from new (current owner since October 2015) and full service history with Porsche main dealers and highly regarded Porsche specialists. The mileage is 55,000 miles. Background
The facelift version of the Porsche Cayman was introduced in February 2009. The Cayman S gained direct injection and a 25 hp increase to 320bhp, compared to the first generation version. The new engine does away with the Intermediate Shaft, which proved to be a weak link in pre-2009 engines. The front bumper was redesigned along with new front and rear lights.

Exterior
Our hand selected Porsche Cayman S Gen 2 looks stunning in its metallic coat of Meteor Grey, an optional colour for the car. The striking two toned diamond finished 911 Turbo lightweight alloy wheels with black Porsche crests are the perfect contrast to the red brake callipers. The paintwork condition is excellent, with no blemishes on any panel. The Cayman S has been waxed with Autoglym High Definition Wax by us, which will help protect the paintwork and repel surface contaminants. All the trim has a perfect finish, as do the front and rear lights, which are free from any damage or moisture buildup. The windows drop as they should when you open the door. The engine and boot struts also operate as they should.

Interior
The optional black leather hardback sports seats and rest of the interior leathers are in excellent condition and provide a perfect pairing to the Meteor Grey metallic bodywork. There are no marks or signs of wear to any of the trim, panels or switchgear, with the leather retaining a wholly fresh appearance throughout. The sleek aesthetic is topped-off with features like the Sport Chrono Package Plus Silver Stopwatch on the dashboard and PCM3 touchscreen system that controls many optional features of the car (navigation, phone, Bluetooth, music interface, voice control).

Standard items include Electric windows, Electric heated mirrors, Dual cup holders, Remote central locking, Trip computer, PSM Traction Control, ABS, Locking wheel bolts, Locking glovebox, Alarm and Immobiliser. All equipment fitted to our Cayman S works perfectly, so the car is exactly as it left the factory in 2009.

Engine and Transmission
Our Cayman S is equipped with the 3.4 litre DFI flat six engine. The Cayman S engine produces 320bhp and 273ft-lb of torque. The axle load distribution of approximately 45:55 ensures high directional stability and superb road behaviour. The engine starts cleanly when cold or hot, there is no smoke whatsoever either at startup or when driving. There are no unusual sounds or rattles when the engine is running.

With its compact design and low weight, the 6 speed manual gearbox is a simple, direct way to tap into the power of the Cayman S. The manual transmission system provides short gearshift travel and precise lever movement, giving you the highest possible level of accessibility with the minimum of fuss.

Our Cayman S is equipped with the highly desired Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system and Sport Chrono Package Plus system, which includes the dashboard mounted silver stopwatch and lap timer. It also adds a SPORT button to the dash which tautens the throttle and the damping while loosening PASM’s reins.

Wheels, Tyres and Brakes
Our Cayman S comes fitted with the 19 inch 911 Turbo lightweight alloy wheels, which are unmarked, free of kerbing damage and corrosion. The brakes are phenomenal, cross drilled and vented discs front and rear. The front brake discs and pads were replaced in September 2018 and the rears were replaced in June 2015 and are in good condition without any lip or corrosion. The tyres are matching Michelin Pilot Sport items with 5mm of tread on the front and 4mm on the rear.

History File
Our Porsche Cayman S has a full Official Porsche Centre and Porsche Specialist Dealer service history with evidence of work carried out shown in the accompanying invoices. The last service was completed at 55,000 miles and it was a 20,000 miles service including inspection and suspension/exhaust overhaul so there are no worn or corroded parts that require replacement for several years – this work was completed by the highly regarded PorschaCare, Hertfordshire. The next service is due in around 20,000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes sooner.

The most recent brake fluid change was in August 2017 at 49k, the spark plugs were also replaced in September 2015 at 30k.

The car comes complete with invoices of work carried out, original owners manual pack and two keys. 6 month nationwide warranty and MOT until September 2019.
