M R Sportscars is a Porsche Specialist Car Dealership based in rural Hertfordshire. We hand select the finest examples of Porsche from the modern era, predominantly 2009 to 2015, as we see these cars being the sweet spot in modern safety/technology, reliability and timeless Porsche styling.

The company is run by Raj, a passionate and lifelong car enthusiast, who has intimate knowledge on the finer points of each Porsche, from the intricacies of Porsche factory options, factory colours, Porsche model evolution over time, history/maintenance provenance, mechanical/cosmetic vehicle assessment and Porsche diagnostics. Prior to setting up M R Sportscars Porsche 10 years ago, Raj was the founding editor of a monthly car magazine called MotorStars which printed for over 5 years. MotorStars focussed on the greatest modern and classic sportscars from across the globe. The specific passion for Porsche began from an early age, the first picture of Raj with a car is an early 80s Carrara White 911 Targa outside a nightclub in Majorca!

We prepare each car with utmost care and attention, both mechanically and cosmetically. We work with the finest Porsche trained mechanics in the country. All of our cars undergo an extensive ground up detail throughout. We will clean a Porsche where few others reach. Our preparation work is classified as a light restoration that gets the car ready for the next owner to enjoy and cherish for many years going forward (see below for details).

We carry out the following for all the Porsche we offer for sale

• A comprehensive 140 point cosmetic and mechanical inspection
• Extensive road test to ensure the Porsche is performing exactly as it should
• Thorough diagnostics session using Porsche PIWIS 3 with results including overrevs provided in the bespoke in-house history file (see next point below)
• Bespoke and unrivalled in-house designed history file which catalogues the specification, options, diagnostics results, maintenance history and all other vehicle documents in chronological order
• Full background check on the provenance of the car
• Independent HPI checks including Accidents/Theft/Finance/VIN Number/Engine Number/Mileage/Ownership/Registration Plates/Import/Colour Change/Unrecorded Insurance Accident History
• The bodywork is machine polished and protected with high content carnauba wax
• The exterior plastics are cleaned and treated/protected to maintain their original factory look
• The interior is cleaned and the leather treated/protected
• The engine bay, boot/door shuts, wheel arches and wheels inside/out are also cleaned thoroughly – where most cars accumulate undiscovered grime over years of use

We use the absolute finest car cleaning products, which have been hand selected over years of experience and used on hundreds of Porsche we have prepared for sale. These include products from Autofinesse, Autoglym, Gtechniq as well as other fine brands.

Each car comes with 6-months Warranty and Roadside/Home Assistance, which can be extended to 1 or 2 years, for complete peace of mind. You have the choice to bring the vehicle back for warranty work or use a local Porsche specialist close to you. Each Porsche we sell is provided with at least 6-months MOT.

All of our Porsche are kept and viewed indoors at our premises. They are owned by the company (they are not Sale or Return, SOR) and available to view by appointment at our rural Hertfordshire location.
