The optional Porsche Dynamic Cornering Bi-Xenon headlights offer exceptional brightness, even in challenging conditions. The light beam pattern actually adjusts from side to side depending on speed and steering wheel movement to light up round a corner increasing your line of sight at night. The daylight running lights are also a valued safety feature added on the facelift Cayman Gen 2 from 2009.

Background
The facelift version of the Porsche Cayman was introduced in February 2009. The Cayman S gained direct injection and a 25bhp increase to 320bhp, compared to the first generation version. This new engine was also cleaner and more efficient, which translates to the annual road tax being £325 instead of £555, which is a significant saving in annual running costs! The new engine does away with the Intermediate Shaft, which proved to be a weak link in pre-2009 engines. The front bumper was redesigned along with new front and rear lights, with the addition of daylight running lights in the front bumper.

Exterior
Our hand selected Porsche Cayman S Gen 2 looks stunning in its metallic coat of Aqua Blue Metallic, an optional colour for the car. The striking 19-inch Sport Design lightweight alloy wheels finished with coloured Porsche crests are the perfect contrast to the red brake callipers. The paintwork condition is excellent, with no blemishes on any panel. The Cayman S has been waxed with Autoglym High Definition Wax by us, which will help protect the paintwork and repel surface contaminants. All the trim has a perfect finish, as do the front and rear lights, which are free from any damage or moisture buildup. The windows drop as they should when you open the door. The engine and boot struts also operate as they should.

Interior
The black leather sports seats, with optional 2-stage heating, and rest of the interior leathers are in excellent condition and provide a perfect contrast to the Aqua Blue metallic bodywork. There are no marks or signs of wear to any of the trim, panels or switchgear, with the leather retaining a wholly fresh appearance throughout.

Engine and Transmission
Our Cayman S is equipped with the 3.4 litre DFI flat six engine. The Cayman S engine produces 320bhp and 273ft-lb of torque. The axle load distribution of approximately 45:55 ensures high directional stability and superb road behaviour. The engine starts cleanly when cold or hot, there is no smoke whatsoever either at startup or when driving. There are no unusual sounds or rattles when the engine is running.

The 7-speed double-clutch PDK transmission system provides instant changes, unleashing the power of the engine with minimal fuss. It has three selectable modes, Normal, SPORT and Full Manual Shifting with either the gear selector or through the steering wheel mounted shift buttons.

Wheels, Tyres and Brakes
Our Cayman S comes fitted with the 19-inch 15-spoke Sport Design lightweight alloy wheels, which are unmarked, free of kerbing damage and corrosion. The brakes are phenomenal, cross drilled and vented discs front and rear. The front and rear brake discs and pads are in good condition without any lip or corrosion. The tyres are Porsche N-rated Michelin Pilot Super Sports, with only minimal wear as they were replaced in the second half of 2019.

History File
Our Porsche Cayman S has a full Official Porsche Centre and Porsche Specialist Dealer service history with evidence of work carried out shown in the original service book and accompanying invoices. The last major service was completed at 47,500 miles in August 2019, and included a drive belt change, brake fluid change and four wheel alignment. The next minor service is due in around 17,500 miles or 14 months time, whichever comes sooner.

The most recent brake fluid change was in August 2019 at 47,500 miles, the spark plugs were replaced in February 2017 at 41,100 miles.

The car comes complete with invoices of work carried out, original owners manual pack and two keys. The car is HPI clear, has MOT until July 2021 and comes complete with six months warranty.
