This is a one previous owner 2010 997 Gen 2 Porsche 911 Carrera S 3.8 litre Coupe finished in stunning Dark Metallic (code LM5X) and Black extended leather with full Porsche Main Dealer (OPC) and Specialist Service History, last serviced at 62,500 miles in September 2020. Background
Production of the second generation 997 series 911 Carrera S began in 2009, it featured an all new engine with Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) which is mounted 10mm lower in the car, revised suspension system, new front bumper with larger air intakes, LED rear and front daylight running lights, all new Porsche Communication Management (PCM) System with touchscreen, hard drive navigation and Bluetooth.

Exterior
Our hand selected Porsche 911 Carrera S looks stunning in its metallic coat of Dark Blue, a striking colour for the 997.2, especially with the red LED rear lights. The metallic silver 19-inch Carrera S II lightweight alloy wheels are the perfect contrast to the paintwork. The paintwork condition is excellent. The 911 Carrera S has been waxed with Autoglym Ultra High Definition Wax by us, which will help protect the paintwork and repel surface contaminants. All the trim has a perfect finish, as do the front and clear rear lights, which are free from any damage or moisture buildup. The windows drop as they should when you open the door. The engine and boot struts also operate as they should.

Interior
The optional 12-way Electric Seats and the rest of the extended black leather interior, are in excellent condition and provide a perfect pairing to the Basalt Black bodywork. There are no marks or signs of wear to any of the trim, panels or switchgear, with the leather retaining a wholly fresh appearance throughout.

Engine and Transmission
Our 911 Carrera S is equipped with the 3.8 litre flat six DFI engine, which addressed all previous weaknesses of the 996 and 997 first generation engines. The 911 Carrera S engine produces 385bhp and 310ft-lb of torque. The axle load distribution of approximately 40:60 ensures high directional stability and superb road behaviour. The engine starts cleanly when cold or hot, there is no smoke whatsoever either at startup or when driving. There are no unusual sounds or rattles when the engine is running. Our 911 Carrera S is equipped with the highly desired switchable sports suspension system (PASM), which includes the dashboard switch that stiffens the suspension in an instant, increasing connection to the road.

The optional 7-speed double-clutch PDK transmission system provides instant changes, unleashing the power of the engine with minimal fuss.

Wheels, Tyres and Brakes
Our 911 Carrera S comes fitted with the optional 19-inch Carrera S II lightweight alloy wheels finished in metallic silver, which are original, unmarked, free of damage and corrosion. They have been fully refurbished by us. The brake discs and pads have just been replaced, front and rear by us as well. The tyres are N rated Bridgestone Potenza high performance tyres, with plenty of tread left on them.

History File
Our Porsche 911 Carrera S has a full Porsche Main Dealer (OPC) and Specialist Service History, last serviced at 62,500 miles in September 2020.
