Background
Production of the second generation 997 series 911 Carrera S began in 2009, it featured an all new engine with Direct Fuel Injection DFI which is mounted 10mm lower in the car, revised suspension system, new front bumper with larger air intakes, LED rear & front daylight running lights, all new Porsche Communication Management PCM System with touchscreen, hard drive navigation & Bluetooth.

Exterior
Our hand selected Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet looks stunning in its metallic coat of Aqua Blue, a striking colour for the 997.2, especially with the red LED rear lights. The metallic silver 19-inch Carrera S wheels are a perfect contrast to the paintwork. The 911 Carrera S has been machine polished & waxed by us, which will help protect the paintwork & repel surface contaminants. All the trim has a perfect finish, as do the front & rear lights. The windows drop as they should when you open the door. The engine & boot struts also operate as they should. The Black fabric hood is in excellent condition & operates perfectly, we have cleaned & retreated the hood with the Autoglym Hood Cleaner & Protector Kit so it will remain in fantastic condition for the foreseeable future. The convertible hood can be operated remotely with the keys or even on the move, up to around 30mph should the weather change suddenly.

Interior
The 911 Carrera S comes with the 2-way electric Sports Seats that have height adjustment & optional 3-stage seat heating. Just like the rest of the Black extended leather interior, they are in excellent condition. There are no marks or signs of wear to any of the trim, panels or switchgear, with the leather retaining a wholly fresh appearance throughout.

Engine & Transmission
Our 911 Carrera S is equipped with the 3.8 litre flat six DFI engine, which addressed all previous weaknesses of the 996 & 997 first generation engines. The 911 Carrera S engine produces 385bhp & 310ft-lb of torque. The axle load distribution of approximately 40:60 ensures high directional stability & superb road behaviour. The engine starts cleanly when cold or hot, there is no smoke whatsoever either at startup or when driving. There are no unusual sounds or rattles when the engine is running.

Our 911 Carrera S is equipped with the highly desired switchable sports suspension system PASM, which includes the dashboard switch that stiffens the suspension in an instant, increasing connection to the road. The Carrera S is also fitted with Sport Chrono Package Plus, which adds a SPORT & SPORT PLUS button that sharpen the throttle response, decreases shift speeds, hold gears for longer & blips the throttle on downshifts whilst also adding a dashboard mounted stopwatch to add to the sporting image of the C2S.

The optional 7-speed double-clutch PDK transmission system provides instant changes, unleashing the power of the engine with minimal fuss. Because it has been specified in combination with Sport Chrono Package Plus, it unlocks additional shift speeds in both SPORT PLUS & LAUNCH CONTROL modes. These modes are only available with these options selected from the factory along with PDK. They enable the Carrera S to respond and accelerate faster than the standard car, reducing the in-gear acceleration & the headline 0-60mph time by 0.4 seconds to just 4.4 seconds.

Wheels, Tyres & Brakes
Our 911 Carrera S comes fitted with the optional 19-inch Carrera S II lightweight alloy wheel, finished in Arctic Silver Metallic, which are original, unmarked, free of damage & corrosion. The brakes are phenomenal, cross drilled & vented discs front & rear. The callipers are painted Guards Red from the factory with PORSCHE lettering. The tyres are matching Porsche N2-rated Pirelli P-Zeros, with lots of life left.
