This is a stunning example of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet finished in the highly desired Lapis Blue Metallic paint (code LM5W) which has been impeccably maintained by its current and previous owners. A borescope inspection including compression test of all cylinders was carried out by Official Porsche Centre Colchester in October 2018, with all clear results. In December 2018 OPC Colchester performed a full vehicle inspection with excellent results. The clutch, RMS and IMS seals were changed at 44k miles.

Background
Production of the 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet began in early 2006, it was an all-wheel drive version of the 2S that was released in late 2004. Just like the 2S, the S version was offered with additional power from a slightly larger engine, sports suspension, and sports exhaust. The Carrera 4S uses the 3.8 litre flat-6 engine found in the 2S. As standard the Carrera 4S was fitted with 20mm lower suspension with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), 19 inch wheels, 911 turbo brake setup, Bi-Xenon headlights and aluminium finish instruments. The 4S has a 44mm wider rear end body shell and black plastic sill covers, just like the 911 Turbo.

Exterior
Our hand selected Porsche 911 Carrera 4S looks stunning in its metallic coat of Lapis Blue, a desired colour for the 997 because it picks up the light across its shapely body perfectly. The striking silver Carrera Classic 5-spoke alloy wheels are the perfect contrast to the 911 Turbo red brake callipers. The paintwork condition is excellent, with no blemishes on any panel. The Carrera 4S has been waxed with Autoglym Ultra High Definition Wax by us, which will help protect the paintwork and repel surface contaminants. All the trim has a perfect finish, as do the front and rear lights, which are free from any damage or moisture buildup. The windows drop as they should when you open the door. The engine and boot struts also operate as they should. The blue convertible fabric hood is fully electric and operates perfectly, stowing away in its own compartment behind the rear seats.

Interior
The optional Ocean Blue leather hardback sports seats and rest of the interior leathers are in excellent condition and provide a perfect partner to the Lapis Blue metallic bodywork and blue hood. There are no marks or signs of wear to any of the trim, panels or switchgear, with the leather retaining a wholly fresh appearance throughout.

Engine and Transmission
Our 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is equipped with the 3.8 litre flat six engine. The Carrera 4S engine produces 350bhp and 295ft-lb of torque. The axle load distribution of approximately 40:60 ensures high directional stability and superb road behaviour. The engine starts cleanly when cold or hot (it has the recommended starter cable upgrade), there is no smoke whatsoever either at startup or when driving. There are no unusual sounds or rattles when the engine is running. With its compact design and low weight, the 6 speed manual gearbox is a simple, direct way to tap into the power of the 911 Carrera 4S. The manual transmission system provides short gearshift travel and precise lever movement, giving you the highest possible level of accessibility with the minimum of fuss. Our 911 Carrera 4S is equipped with the highly desired factory switchable sports exhaust system, which includes the dashboard switch that opens a set of valves that increase the sound at higher revs.

Wheels, Tyres and Brakes
Our 911 Carrera 4S comes fitted with the 19 inch Carrera Classic 5-spoke lightweight alloy wheels, which are totally unmarked, free of kerbing damage and corrosion. The Turbo brakes are phenomenal, cross drilled and vented discs front and rear. The brake discs and pads are in excellent condition. The tyres are matching Bridgestone Potenza RE050A with around 6mm of tread all round.

History File
Our Porsche 911 Carrera 4S has a full Official Porsche Centre (OPC) service history with evidence of work carried out shown in the accompanying invoices. The last service was completed at 44,685 miles. We have carried out an over rev and full diagnostic check which has all come back excellent. A borescope inspection including compression test of all cylinders was carried out by Official Porsche Centre Colchester in October 2018, with all clear results. In December 2018 OPC Colchester performed a full vehicle inspection with excellent results.

The most recent brake fluid change was at 44k miles, the spark plugs were replaced at 44k miles. The clutch, RMS and IMS seals were changed at 44k miles.
