Standard items include the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) System which lowers the car by 10mm, Carrera S inscribed sill covers, Hill Start Assist, retractable rear spoiler, Automatic climate control, Electric windows, Headlight washers, dual cup holders, Remote central locking, Trip computer, PSM Traction Control, ABS, Locking wheel bolts, Locking glovebox, Alarm and Immobiliser. Background
Production of the second generation 997 series 911 Carrera S began in mid 2008, it featured an all new engine with Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) which is mounted 10mm lower in the car, revised suspension system, new front bumper with larger air intakes, LED rear and front daylight running lights, all new Porsche Communication Management (PCM) System with touchscreen, hard drive navigation and Bluetooth.

Exterior
Our hand selected Porsche 911 Carrera S looks stunning in its brilliant coat of Carrara White, a striking colour for the 997.2. The Porsche Exclusive order Gloss Black Carrera S II lightweight alloy wheels are the perfect contrast to the red turbo style 6 pot brake callipers. The paintwork condition is excellent, with no blemishes on any panel. The 911 Carrera S has been waxed with Autoglym Ultra High Definition Wax by us, which will help protect the paintwork and repel surface contaminants. All the trim has a perfect finish, as do the front and clear rear lights, which are free from any damage or moisture buildup. The windows drop as they should when you open the door. The engine and boot struts also operate as they should.

Interior
The Porsche Exclusive Carrara White hardback sports electric seats come with optional 2-stage heating and like the rest of the interior leathers are in excellent condition and provide a perfect match to the Carrara White bodywork. There are no marks or signs of wear to any of the trim, panels or switchgear, with the leather retaining a wholly fresh appearance throughout.

Engine and Transmission
Our 911 Carrera S is equipped with the 3.8 litre flat six DFI engine, which addressed all previous weaknesses of the 996 and 997 first generation engines. The 911 Carrera S engine produces 385bhp and 310ft-lb of torque. The axle load distribution of approximately 40:60 ensures high directional stability and superb road behaviour. The engine starts cleanly when cold or hot, there is no smoke whatsoever either at startup or when driving. There are no unusual sounds or rattles when the engine is running. With its compact design and low weight, the rarely specced 6 speed manual gearbox is a simple, direct way to tap into the power of the 911 Carrera S. The manual transmission system provides short gearshift travel and precise lever movement, giving you the highest possible level of accessibility with the minimum of fuss. Our 911 Carrera S is equipped with the highly desired switchable sports suspension system, which includes the dashboard switch that stiffens the suspension in an instant, increasing connection to the road. The Carrera S is also fitted with Sport Chrono Package Plus, which adds a SPORT button that sharpens the throttle response and engine map whilst also adding a dashboard mounted stopwatch to add to the sporting image of the C2S.

Wheels, Tyres and Brakes
Our 911 Carrera S comes fitted with the Porsche Exclusive order Gloss Black 19 inch Carrera S II lightweight alloy wheels, which are original, unmarked, free of damage and corrosion. The brake discs and pads are in good condition, as verified by PorschaCare in December 2018. The tyres are N rated Michelin Pilot Sport high performance tyres.

History File
Our Porsche 911 Carrera S has a full Official Porsche Centre (OPC) and Specialist service history. The last major service was completed at 54,900 miles in December 2018 at PorschaCare and included an inspection, spark plug change and brake fluid change. The Brembo brake discs and pads on the front and rear were also changed for new items. Whilst this work was done, PorschCare also replaced the exhaust heat shields. PorschaCare have carried out an overrev check and full diagnostic check which has all come back excellent in December 2018. The next service is due in 20,000 miles or 18 months, whichever comes sooner.

The most recent brake fluid change and spark plug change was at 54k.

The car comes complete with the original stamped service book, original owners manual pack, history/provenance file and two keys. MOT until October 2019 and 6 month nationwide warranty is included.
